Agnes Water, Queensland
Agnes Water is a beautiful, quiet little beachside town just next door to the famous town of 1770. If you really want to get away from it all than this is the place to come. A six hour drive north of Brisbane, to say the town is relaxed is an understatement - it's all about soaking up the beach and nature.
The beaches are stunning - featuring pure white sand and crystal clear blue water. The Paperbark Forest Walk is an absolute must-do. As you can see from the photos - it's major nature froth.
Besides taking in all the natural surrounds of this special place, there are of course restaurants, bars, cafes and spas to try out. Good picks are Plantation Restaurant, 1770 Beach Hotel, Anjea Day Spa and Off the Hook.
A great place to stay is the beautiful Neamh beach house. This recently built holiday home features a traditional white beach shack exterior and a modern yet relaxed decor.
