Bunya Crossing Reserve, Brisbane

The thing that's so great about Brisbane is that you can drive half an hour from pretty much anywhere and find a beautiful piece of secluded nature. Just 25 minutes from the city and you'll find this absolute treasure.

Bunya Crossing Reserve is located in Albany Creek and backs onto the beautiful Bunyaville State Forest Park. It's home to a very inviting creek; fish, ducks, birds and even turtles and wallabies; stunning trees and plants; rope swings; walking tracks; and lots of picnic spots.

It's a must-visit if you are looking for a good dose of nature or a nice place to swim on a hot day.
