Paddington is one of Brisbane's oldest and most beautiful suburbs. With its rolling hills dotted with gorgeous Queenslanders, there is something truly special about this place.
Taking a morning walk in Paddington is such a lovely thing to do. Start by heading to the lookout on the corner of Tooth Avenue and Perrott Street. It's home to the grandest Poinciana Tree you'll ever see, overlooks the suburb and has amazing views of the city. Then meander from the lookout down to Latrobe Terrace and stroll along what is arguably Brisbane's prettiest street, thanks to countless beautiful old homes and buildings, gorgeous plants and interesting street art.
Besides being a great place for a walk, Paddington is also home to some of Brisbane's best restaurants, cafes and bars. It may have something to do with the fact that Paddington was one of the first, if not the first, suburbs in Brisbane to develop a food and coffee scene back in the 1980s. It's still going strong.
